Thirteen at the Table

The French comedy "Thirteen at the Table" was a huge success in Paris, Rome, and throughout Europe, and was also adapted into a film.

Husband and wife Madeleine and Antoine Villardier are preparing a formal dinner for guests at their home. Madeleine is superstitious and desperately tries to prevent the ominous number of thirteen guests at the table. Every time the seating arrangement seems finally settled to her satisfaction, comic situations arise from the relationships of all the invited guests.
