Sinfonietta100

A dance and music adaptation of Janáček's Sinfonietta marking the 100th anniversary of the composition. Choreographer Martin Dvořák approaches the work as a dance image of contemporary times — Janáček's music serves as a counterpoint to today's chaotic, manipulative, and crude society.

Musician and vocalist Patrik Kee adds four original movements to Janáček's five as a musical bridge to the present. Six dancers will perform before an audience of up to one hundred in the Vodojemy space on Žlutý kopec in Brno.
