A young nobleman's transformation into a jester as punishment, told in seven scenes.

A seasoned king of jesters is tasked with turning a young nobleman into a jester. Under his guidance and with the help of his companions, the novice undergoes lessons during which he gradually discovers his jester's true self — until the ritual arrives in which a new jester is born.
