The Beneš Couple in Brno

The Czechoslovak Republic has been saved, and the consequences of the Munich Agreement have been averted. But at what cost? And how did Edvard Beneš contribute to the advancing collapse of democracy?

We will glimpse into the private life that the Beneš couple experienced during their post-war visit to Brno at Villa Stiassni in this production, staged specifically for the Meeting Brno festival. The script was written by Markéta Špetíková, and the direction is by Michal Zetel.
