The Little Prince

The Little Prince is an original theatrical project based on the book The Little Prince. Two actresses - one playing the Prince, the other as the pilot - tell the story of a journey across planets and various adventures. The production emphasizes a maternal approach to storytelling and creates situations through interactive scenography.

The core scenic element is a paper spiral - a barrier separating the inner and outer worlds. The production uses shadow theatre, projection, and paper as material for origami figures and paper spheres, along with drawing on paper. The Prince puppet is wooden and also functions as a toy that children can partially control themselves - the interactive stage aims to awaken children's own imagination and engagement with the story.

The source material itself is a poetic and philosophical reflection on two contrasting value systems - the world of children and the world of adults. The production explores the differences and, above all, the connection between these two worlds, which are able to coexist alongside each other.
