ARCHA+U: Computer Music + GbClifford (Music Production Workshop)
ARCHA+, Prague
A music production workshop will take place on May 23 at the small hall of ARCHA+. It will be led by badfocus, BoLs/sLoB, and GbClifford.
BoLs/sLoB and badfocus will introduce the fundamentals of music production: how to create a complete track in your bedroom, what you need to do it, and how to think about music creation from both technical and creative perspectives. Both producers were nominated for the export project Czeching Radia Wave — BoLs/sLoB also received a nomination for Discovery of the Year at the Vinyla awards, while badfocus won the HEMI Music Awards.
The workshop will also include a session dedicated to GbClifford and his approach to production — working with sound, samples, vocals, and noise aesthetics, as well as topics such as mental fragility, the need for human closeness, trauma sharing, and mental health in the music industry.
The programme is designed for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of music production or audio software.
