Castle Riding Hall, Český Krumlov

concert Pop date culture

The concert "My Role Model, Divine Karel" presents a survey of Karel Gott's entire musical career performed by 24-year-old Kristián Šebka - with reverence and respect, not as a revival. The evening is complemented by an introductory address.

About the venue: Castle Riding Hall

The Castle Riding Hall is a Baroque building from 1744-1746 in the grounds of Český Krumlov Castle, built in the Viennese Rococo style at the behest of Prince Josef Adam of Schwarzenberg. It was designed by Viennese architect Andreas Altomonte, with stucco decoration by sculptor Jan Antonín Zinner. After World War II the hall served as a gymnasium and scenery store; it was converted for cultural use in the 1970s. Today it hosts concerts of the International Music Festival Český Krumlov, balls, conferences and wedding receptions, with a capacity of up to 700 seats.
