Senses

A new production by Finnish director Maksim Komarov, who has collaborated with the Cirk La Putyka ensemble on the projects Isole, Batacchio, Kaleidoscope, and Slapstick Sonata. The performance draws from circus history spanning 400 years into the past and weaves it into a single interlaced programme — from abstract minimalism to the traditional buffoonery of medieval marketplaces.

Senses combines various styles and genres of circus art, moving between circus and dance accompanied by theatrical elements and references to the history of circus and stage art.
