Hostina

The production Hostina is inspired by themes of gluttony, food, and customs associated with dining.

To play or not to play with food? Gourmet or gourmand? Hedonism as a gateway to social intoxication. With food comes appetite. To devour the unrepeatable moment. Dessert instead of thanks. Late guests eat bones.

The ensemble My kluci, co spolu chodíme invites audiences to a festive feast where they become fellow diners and sit at one table with the performers. Each evening is unique and reserved for fifty guests. Food becomes a prop, a stage partner, or another spectator — and the feast becomes an absurd game.

The programme consists of a collage of stories, acrobatics, dance, and physical theatre in an improvised format. The culinary experience is provided by the team from Na ohni a kouři.
