Pokač takes the stage on Friday, 26 June 2026 at Zámek Kuřím, performing as part of the city's 800th anniversary celebrations. This is the second Czech tour date — the day before, Pokač plays at Letní kino Špilberk in Brno, with further dates to follow in Rtyně v Podkrkonoší and Kladno. Zámek Kuřím is a Renaissance cultural monument on the western edge of the city, comprising the Old Castle (1592–1594) and the Neo-Renaissance New Castle (1888–1889). The concert begins at 20:00, followed by a meet-and-greet session. Admission from 290 CZK.

About the venue: Kuřim Castle

Kuřim Castle is a Renaissance cultural monument on the western edge of town, comprising the so-called Old Castle (built 1592–1594) and the Neo-Renaissance New Castle (1888–1889). The original medieval fortress was rebuilt to serve as the administrative seat of Brno's city estates. Since 1951 the building has housed a secondary vocational school (SOŠ a SOU Kuřim). The castle courtyard is open to the public for cultural events, theatrical and musical performances, and open-air cinema screenings.

Jan Pokorný, performing as Pokáč, was born on 25 July 1990 in Prague and works as a Czech singer-songwriter and lyricist playing guitar and ukulele. His body of work - characterized by irony and sarcasm with roots in everyday experience - positioned him among the earliest Czech performers to achieve mainstream success through YouTube. A graduate in software engineering from CTU Prague, this technical background occasionally influences his songwriting. He received the Silver Slavík award for Singer of the Year in 2021 and sold out Prague's O2 Arena in September 2022.
