Samaritans of the 21st Century Development World

A lecture on the state of healthcare in sub-Saharan East Africa, based on the author's travels between 1993 and 2020. He observed the health and hygiene conditions of people - especially children - in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya and Cape Town, South Africa.

The lecturer worked for two years as a physician-expert in Libya and subsequently attempted concrete assistance in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Sri Lanka. He focused primarily on combating AIDS and developing a model to reduce high maternal mortality in East Africa. The lecture explores the challenges of such work in developing countries across Africa and Asia, what succeeded and what failed, and offers recommendations for addressing humanitarian aid in these regions today.

The author has documented his travel experiences in five books published over the past six years. Following the lecture, there will be a book launch for his latest work, "The Magic of Exotic Islands".
