PLATZforma: Reconstruction of 14m2

A performative installation about reviving childhood memories. A thorough clearing of long-forgotten recollections and passions. With a brush, I gather conscious fingerprints. I unwind the shell. A camera trap captures hurried movement. Landscapes merge; in that grain of silence, I search for who I am.

The production emerged as a co-production of PLATZforma and the fifth edition of the PLÁCEK Festival, themed around "already made". Artists Joa Ferfecki and Marie Měkotová approach the theme as a starting point, accepting that what shapes us is always already somehow predetermined, experienced, and imprinted.
