Paper Dream and Lumenia Open Lab

Nano VJs and B.EYE merge electronic music, generative visuals, and fingerdrumming into a live audiovisual performance where sound directly shapes the image. The musical component draws from fingerdrumming - a technique in which the musician uses precise finger movements to control electronic percussion instruments. Each rhythmic impulse is connected in real time with generative visuals and live drawing.

The evening includes Lumenia Open Lab - an open interactive projection on the building of Andrej Bagara Theatre. Visitors can try experimental video mapping, draw, work with props or their own movements, and create visuals projected in real time - without any prior experience. The projection will commemorate 35 years of Theatre Nitra; those who wish to relive festival memories can bring old tickets, photographs, or other objects.

Nano VJs is a visual media art collective founded in 2010 in Košice by Beáta Kolbašovská and Jakub Pišek. The collective focuses on video mapping, light and interactive installations, live visuals, and multimedia performances, regularly presenting their work at international festivals. Adam Hrušovský (B.EYE) is an electronic music producer and pioneer of fingerdrumming in Slovakia, focusing on performances where music is created directly before the audience's eyes in connection with the image.
