Tatko Ubu

The amateur theatre group Divadelná Jedáleň from Bratislava's Rača district brings an absurdist-satirical comedy "Tatko Ubu" to the Disk Theatre for a guest performance.

"Tatko Ubu" is a pharmacy worker who dreams of becoming king. Alfred Jarry's comedy remains surprisingly relevant more than a hundred years later - and if some of the characters seem suspiciously familiar, that's no accident.

This is the third premiere of the Divadelná Jedáleň ensemble, which won the award for direction and dramaturgy at the Bratislava regional festival "Divadelné konfrontácie".

The production is suitable for audiences 15+.
