Musical Meeting with a Philharmonic Archivist

Before a conductor's score and orchestral parts reach the music stands of musicians, they can travel halfway around the world and pass through the hands of many people. Musicologist Anna Valchářová, who works at the Moravian Philharmonic as the head of the music collection, will explain what exactly happens in the music archive before the first note is played on stage and after the concert ends.

Her talk will be complemented by practical demonstrations of flute playing.
