Famous and Empty Vinohrady Villas

A guided walk through the villa district on the border of Vinohrady and Vršovice. The route passes by villas designed by renowned architects and properties worth tens of millions - but also houses that are falling into disrepair. The programme includes Maršner's chocolate factory, the villa of the Čapek brothers, the Svoboda colony, Jan Kotěra's own villa, and the current state of the remaining Na Šafránce villa.

Guides are Kateřina Knoblochová and Petr Zeman. Meeting point in front of the tram depot at Náměstí U Orionky. Children under 15 have free entry, strollers are welcome, and dogs on a leash are fine.

The walk is a benefit event - proceeds go towards the restoration of small monuments managed by the association and support for further association activities. Pre-purchase via GoOut.cz is recommended.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event no later than 48 hours in advance if there is low interest. Any cancellation will be announced on GoOut, the Facebook event page, and on the website prazdnedomy.cz in the walks section.
