In the Dark Shadow of Heydrich

A guided walking tour commemorating the anniversary of Reinhard Heydrich's arrival in Bohemia.

The route passes through Wenceslas Square, where we will recall the fate of student Jan Opletal and the Protectorate film industry at the Lucerna. A stop at Petschka Palace - the former Gestapo headquarters - will remind us of the hundreds of people interrogated there. The tour ends at the Church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius on Resslova Street, where Czechoslovak paratroopers fought their final battle after the assassination of Heydrich.
