Mikoláš Růžička at Kačina Castle

A concert in the Chotkovská Library at Kačina Castle. Mikoláš Růžička (piano) will perform his original compositions and present new material from his upcoming album. His performance will be complemented by cellist Marie Forestová from the National Theatre State Opera.

Mikoláš Růžička is a singer-songwriter, composer, painter, and presenter of Prague's Radio 1. He plays in the indie-folk band Republic of Two with Jiří Burian and in the band Piano, with which he released 3 albums. He has also collaborated with singer-songwriter Jan Burian. His solo work moves between neoclassical music and ambient - in his home studio he recorded a trilogy of solo albums Doma I-III, capturing quiet moments with his family. He is the composer of the soundtrack to the Czech feature film Do větru.
