Prague 4 in Battle and Resistance

A guided walk with documentarian František Štamber from Paměti národa (Memories of Nations) through sites of struggle, resistance, and suffering in Prague 4. Accompanied by witness testimonies, the tour departs from Pankrác - where fierce fighting took place during the Prague Uprising - and continues past the prison where Czech patriots and collaborators, German criminals, and opponents of the communist regime were imprisoned and executed.

The route reveals the homes of resistance fighters and sites of civilian massacres. The meeting point is at the Milada Horáková memorial on Nusle's Náměstí Hrdinů; the walk will last approximately 2 hours.
