The Grand Budapest Hotel

Mr. Gustave (Ralph Fiennes) is a legend among hotel staff. In the timeless period between two world wars, in a god-forsaken land where little functions properly, the luxurious Grand Budapest Hotel stands as an oasis of reliability, embodied in this head of the hotel's personnel. Mr. Gustave fulfills his guests' wishes before they are even spoken, and he loves most of them with genuine affection, even in the physical sense. When one grateful client bequeaths him an extraordinarily rare painting and shortly thereafter closes her eyes forever (not entirely of her own volition), he not only suddenly becomes fabulously wealthy, but also becomes a thorn in the side of angry heirs, a target for a hired assassin, and a pawn in the hands of the local police. In all these ungrateful roles, he is aided by his personal charm and young bellhop Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), whom he wishes to groom as his successor.
