Born from Darkness

Saga and her British husband Jon move into a house deep in the Finnish forests where Saga grew up. Shortly after their son is born, she begins to suspect something is wrong with the child - those around her convince her she is mistaken, but she gradually succumbs to fear and discovers a terrifying truth.

Director Hanna Bergholm's film weaves Nordic mythology with horror, exploring how the birth of a child can transform relationships and identity itself. The protagonist faces doubt, exhaustion, and unconditional maternal love.
