The jubilee 20th edition of the Hlohovec Wine Harvest Festival brings an expanded programme - the traditional wine celebration merges this year with the Street Food Festival.

At the stalls you will find wines from local Hlohovec winemakers, young wine, and a diverse food selection: grilled specialities, Belgian fries, pizza, langosh, Asian cuisine, specialty coffee and cocktails. Attractions for children will also be on offer.

About: Wohnout

The Prague punk-rock outfit Wohnout was established in 1988 by brothers Jan and Matěj Homola, who handle guitars and vocals, joined by bassist Jiří Zemánek and drummer Zdeněk "Fenek" Steiner. The band regrouped in 1995 following an earlier hiatus and performed their debut concert in February 1996. Across three decades, Wohnout has issued more than ten studio albums and emerged as one of the Czech Republic's most acclaimed rock bands, distinguished by sardonic songwriting and electrifying stage performances.

About: BUTY

Buty was established in 1986 by Richard Kroczek and Radek Pastrňák in Ostrava. The band's distinctive sound - merging rock, folk and world music with clever lyrics - earned them substantial popularity throughout the 1990s. Across eight studio albums they received a Czech Lion award for their music to Jan Svěrák's film Jízda (1994), in addition to multiple Anděl and Český slavík awards.

About: Franta Uher

Franta Uher is a folk storyteller, singer, entertainer and impressionist from Lanžhot in South Moravia. He launched his career in 1986 with the brass band Moravanka, touring with them for 22 years including trips to North America. He is also a familiar face on TV Šlágr, where he works as a presenter, scriptwriter and director.
