Libeň Industrial, Libeň Jewish - Fragments of Lost Libeň

A guided walk through the old factories and former railway station of Libeň, which lost both locomotives and passengers. The tour recalls the fates of vanished Jewish residents who founded many factories and villas in Libeň and the surrounding area, and stops at the baroque castle complex with its brewery and mill. The writer and poet Bohumila Hrabal, chronicler of the disappearing city, serves as a thematic guide.

The route includes: a forgotten Jewish cemetery hidden among greenery and roads, the Church of St. Vojtěch (a wooden structure deceptively resembling stone), Palác Svět as a jewel of Prague functionalism, Libeň Port as a reminder of the Vltava as a transport artery and site of one of Prague's first cinemas - including the story of Viktor Ponrep.
