MeetUP Business Excellence Association ČR takes place on 23 September 2026 at ZIGIHUB Prague, Čimická 442/33, Prague 8. Evening topic: non-verbal communication - what decides in negotiations before the first argument is made.

Guest speaker is Ing. Karel Smejkal, Ph.D. - architect, scientist and educator, founder of the field of applied psychology of architecture and co-founder of INSPIRELI AWARDS. He teaches non-verbal communication using his own methodology at the Czech Technical University in Prague and has presented his research in more than 25 countries worldwide.

The programme is not a lecture but a practical workshop: you will practise reading body language on yourself and others. Karel Smejkal will show what posture, gestures and facial expressions reveal about uncertainty, interest, or when the other person has stopped listening - and how to work with this in negotiations, presentations and everyday conversation.

Participants will take away specific signals they will immediately start noticing in others, conscious work with their own non-verbal expression, and composure in situations you cannot prepare for in advance. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided. Entry is free.
