CAMP Tour: Rohanský ostrov

How can the landscape along the Vltava help the city cope with climate change? Rohanský ostrov is set for a major transformation according to a design by the Czech-Belgian team OMGEVING + FISER + VRV + SINDLAR, winners of the design competition. A 17-hectare park will be created, combining recreation, wild nature, and flood protection.

Architect Martina Bauerová from the Prague Public Space Office (IPR Praha) will lead the walk. She will present the current state of the site, the design principles, and how the relationship between Karlín and Libně to the river will change in the future. The walk is part of Climate Week Prague 2026.

Practical information:
- Meeting point: Štvanická footbridge on the Karlín side.
- The walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours and takes place outdoors.
