Elegant Bubeneč - Between Stromovka and Letenske Square — Tramvajová zastávka Letenské náměstí, Prague

A guided walking tour led by Martin Bělohradský starts at the Letenske Square tram stop (in front of the Tchibo shop) and ends at the Sparta stop. The route covers part of Bubeneč and takes approximately 1.5-2 hours.

Along the way, you will learn about the former Brouk and Babka department store and the popular Belvedere Café. You will walk through generously designed streets lined with trees and a number of Neo-Renaissance, Art Nouveau, and Functionalist apartment buildings. The tour highlights places associated with notable figures who lived here in the early 20th century - Svatopluk Čech, General Rudolf Medek, František Křižík, Josef Václav Myslbek, Vojtěch Hynais, Jan Štursa, and others. From the interwar period, these include Kamil Lhoták, Otakar Španiel, Jan Lauda, Josef Gočár, and Josef Chochol.

Along the route you will see buildings of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Letenske water tower, the enormous Molochov apartment building, and the Ministry of Interior building known as the "Kachlíkárna".

The terrain is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Children under 12 have free entry. Tickets cannot be purchased on site.
