CAMP Tour: Karlovo náměstí

Karlovo náměstí is one of Prague's most important green spaces, and its renewal demonstrates the role public space can play in adapting the city to climate change. This walk will focus on blue-green infrastructure principles, rainwater management, conditions for tree growth, and ways to prevent heat islands. Landscape architect Barbora Lišková from the Prague Public Space Office (IPR Praha) will present proposals from Rehwaldt Landscape Architects, BY Architects, and PD Filip, along with specific measures that can make Karlovo náměstí a more resilient place for everyday life.

The walk is part of Climate Week Prague 2026 and will last approximately 1.5 hours. It takes place outdoors; the meeting point is at the corner of Karlovo náměstí and U Nemocnice street.
