Japanese Whisky Tasting

Japanese whisky is one of the fastest-growing spirits categories of the past decade. Participants will taste 6 samples showcasing the diversity of flavours from the land of the rising sun - from lighter styles to fuller-bodied malts.

The tasting is led by a guide who has personally visited Japan and is passionate about Japanese whisky and culture. He will take participants through the history of distillation in Japan (including the story of Masataka Taketsuru, who studied in Glasgow and pioneered Japanese whisky), explain production methods, key differences between varieties, and regional characteristics. Water and light snacks will be available throughout the tasting to accompany each sample.

- Ichiro's Malt and Grain Whisky

The tasting is conducted in Czech. Participants must be 18 years or older. Attendance without a purchased tasting ticket is not permitted.
