Vulvarine are an all-female hard rock quartet from Vienna - vocalist Suzy Q, guitarist Sandy Dee, bassist Robin Redbreast and drummer Bea Heartbeat. Active since 2019, they call their sound "vulvarock": a blend of punk, heavy metal and rock'n'roll with glam and blues touches. Their catalogue includes debut album Unleashed (2020), EP Witches Brew (2023) and Fast Lane (2025) on Napalm Records. In March 2026 they won the Austrian Amadeus Music Award in the Hard & Heavy category.
Vulvarine won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award 2026 in the Hard & Heavy category - Austria's biggest music award.
At the Amadeus Awards gala evening in Marx Halle in Vienna, the band performed live the single "Fool" from the album Fast Lane.
Vulvarine performed at the Wacken Open Air 2025 festival on the Headbangers Stage.
The album Fast Lane was released on March 28, 2025 on Napalm Records - the band's first recording under this label.
Vulvarine started a European tour as the opening act for Thundermother on their Dirty & Divine Tour together with Cobra Spell.
