Grave Digger + Motorjesus
Legendary German metal band Grave Digger makes its first appearance in České Budějovice. Concert with Motorjesus at Club Lucerna.
Motorjesus are a heavy rock band from Mönchengladbach, Germany, who have been active since 1992 - first as The Shitheadz, then under their current name from 2006. Their sound blends classic heavy metal with dirty hard rock and a punk edge, built around the recurring motif of muscle cars and the band's iconic "Motorized Jesus" mascot. Over three decades they have toured alongside Motörhead, Anthrax and Prong, played Summer Breeze and Rock Hard Festival, and in July 2025 released their eighth studio album Streets of Fire on Reaper Entertainment.
Motorjesus released their eighth studio album Streets of Fire on July 18, 2025 on the Reaper Entertainment label; the album was produced by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection).
For the album Streets of Fire, the band released a single and music video "Return to the Badlands", directed by Frank Stellmacher.
Motorjesus announced an autumn tour Streets of Fire Tour 2025, which will take the band through German rock and metal clubs from September to December.
The band signed a contract with the new label Reaper Entertainment, where they plan to release a new album.
The album Hellbreaker (2021, AFM Records) reached 20th place on the German album charts - the band's best result to date.
