19th International Concert "From South Bohemia and Moravia"
19th International Wind Orchestra Concert in Chýnov. Bands from Moravia, Slovakia, and Austria will perform, followed by dancing until 22:00.
Vlčnovjanka is a Moravian-Slovácko brass band from Vlčnov, performing in traditional folk costume since 1977. Founded by trumpeter Antonín Koníček, the ensemble has been led since 1989 by trombonist Pavel Nevařil of the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic in Zlín. Its repertoire blends arrangements of Moravian-Slovak folk songs with original compositions - chiefly orchestral polkas by in-house trumpeter Zdeněk Kučera - and extends to film and musical theatre music with big-band elements. Over four decades the band has given thousands of concerts across the Czech Republic and in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia, releasing more than ten CDs and DVDs.
Vlčnovjanka performed at the 17th Tlumačov Wind Orchestra Festival in Tlumačov.
The band is confirmed for the 19th International Wind Orchestra Concert in Chýnov, which will take place on August 29, 2026.
Vlčnovjanka will perform at the 17th Tlumačov Wind Orchestra Festival on June 21, 2026 at Amfi Tlumačov.
