Vendula Tomšů

About

Vendula Tomšů (b. 1989, Hodonín) is a Czech visual artist, theatre set designer and performer. She studied Japanese philology at Palacký University in Olomouc before completing a degree in scenography at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in 2020. She is a co-founder of the collective 8lidí and the Zlín-region cultural association Zvěřinec; her own work focuses on intimate performances for small audiences, where the boundary between spectator and co-author deliberately blurs.
