🎤 Václav Krahulík

Václav Krahulík is a Czech pianist, composer and academic born in 1966 in Ústí nad Labem. He studied at the Teplice Conservatory and then at the Prague Academy of Music with Pavel Štěpán, winning laureate prizes at Chopin, Smetana and Beethoven competitions while still a student. Since 1995 he has taught at the Faculty of Education of UJEP in Ústí nad Labem, and has performed as soloist and accompanist across Europe and the United States. Alongside his performing career he composes in genres ranging from classical to jazz.
