Trio Bohémo is a Czech piano trio formed in Budapest in 2019 by violinist Matouš Pěruška, cellist Kristina Vocetková and pianist Jan Vojtek. Within a few years the ensemble won top prizes at the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna, the Parkhouse Award in London and the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria, and made acclaimed debuts at the Vienna Musikverein and Wigmore Hall. Their 2024 debut album on Supraphon - pairing Smetana and Schubert - was named Classical Album of the Week by The Guardian, received five stars from BBC Music Magazine, and won the Presto Music Award for Debut Album of the Year.
Trio Bohémo performed in Montreal as part of the 2025/26 season North American tour, which also includes the ensemble's New York premiere.
In November 2025, the trio performed for the first time in Hawaii as part of the Honolulu Chamber Music Series.
The debut CD for Supraphon won the Presto Music Awards 2024 in the Debut Album of the Year category; the ceremony was held on December 5, 2024 in Leamington Spa.
Supraphon released the debut CD of Trio Bohémo featuring Smetana's Trio in G minor and Schubert's Trio in E-flat major, recorded at Britten Studio in Snape Maltings in England.
In March 2023, the trio won first prize, the award for best performance of Haydn's works, and the audience award at the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna.
