Rockovej Královák XIV
The fourteenth rock festival featuring Black Hill, Destroy!, Hejtman, Tortharry, and Torrax on the summer stage of Králův Dvůr Castle.
Torrax is a Czech power/heavy metal band from Kutná Hora, formed in October 2018 under the name Thorax before renaming to avoid confusion with a Prague-based thrash/heavy metal act of the same name. They play 80s-style epic metal with Czech-language lyrics, making them one of the few domestic bands working in this genre. Their catalogue includes two studio albums - debut "V každým z nás" (2019) and "Příběhy" (2021) - and they perform regularly at Czech rock and metal festivals.
Torrax performed on February 14, 2026 in Prague on board the ship Kamina together with the Klatovy band LORD.
On November 22, 2025, the band christened its 2026 calendar at the Kutná Hora club Česká 1; the Liberec band DanGar Six performed as a guest.
In April 2024, Torrax celebrated its fifth anniversary with a concert at its home club Česká 1 in Kutná Hora.
At the beginning of 2024, the band released the single Zakázané touhy, accompanied by a new music video.
In 2023, longtime lead guitarist Jára Komberec left the band; he was replaced by Johny Shredder, formerly a member of the Čáslav band Rebel.
