Tomáš Němec (b. 1986) is a Czech painter and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (studio of Michael Rittstein). His figurative work spans traditional genres — still life, portrait, landscape and nude — rendered in a broad, gestural style that balances realism with expressive spontaneity. A recurring thread in his painting is a fascination with Edith Piaf alongside diary-like records of everyday life.
