The Teachers are a Czech cover band from Lanžhot in South Moravia, formed in 1993 when a group of teachers took the stage at their gymnasium's ball as a one-off joke - and never really stopped. Their set is built around 1960s rock and big beat (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Olympic) with Czech and international guitar-driven hits from later decades thrown in. Everything is played fully live, no backing tracks.
