The Split is a Czech progressive metal/rock trio from Olomouc. The band was formed by drummer and composer Zdeněk "Čepa" Čepička (known from Forgotten Silence and Ador Dorath), guitarist Mirek Řezníček, and bassist Mira Valouch. Their music blends technical sophistication with strong emotional atmosphere and a wide stylistic range. Their debut album Reminiscences was released in 2021.
