The Frames are an Irish indie rock band from Dublin, fronted by Glen Hansard. Active since the late 1980s, they are known for their emotionally intense, lyrically rich sound. Hansard also gained wider fame through the project The Swell Season with Markéta Irglová and the film Once (2007).
