The Abyssinians are a Jamaican reggae vocal group formed in Kingston in the late 1960s. Known for their rich harmonies and Rastafarian-inspired spiritual lyrics, they are best remembered for the roots reggae classic "Satta Massagana" (1969), one of the most celebrated songs in the genre.
