Burning Spear is a Jamaican reggae and roots reggae singer, born Winston Rodney. Known for his deeply spiritual, Rastafari-influenced style, he is one of the most respected figures in roots reggae. His landmark album Marcus Garvey (1975) brought him international recognition.
