DNO (CZ)
Concert featuring three bands—DNO (CZ), Empty Hall of Fame, and THALIDOMIDE—at the SF Mini club in Olomouc.
Thalidomide are a Prague hardcore-punk band formed in 1993 in Říčany as a teenage trio. They draw on the early-80s American hardcore tradition - Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat, SS Decontrol - and are known for politically charged lyrics and uncompromising live shows. Over more than three decades they have opened for Dead Kennedys and Conflict, and released splits with VAP (2019, Emergency Records) and Empty Hall of Fame (2016, PHR).
Thalidomide performed at the charity festival Bez Šance Fest XI. in Police nad Metují (18.-19. 7. 2025).
The band performed at an event in Pohoří (Hostinec Na Vyhlídce, 14. 6. 2025).
Thalidomide participated in a charity concert in support of Žižkov radio and the StreetCulture bar at the HooDoo club in Vinohrady.
The band performed at a joint concert with Lidské Zdroje and Commodore 64 in Písek (Papírák restaurant, 12. 1. 2024).
The Emergency Records label released a split LP of the bands VAP and Thalidomide - a vinyl version of the 2002 album with two bonus tracks.
