Teatr Ósmego Dnia (Theatre of the Eighth Day) is a Polish theatre company founded in Poznań in 1964. During the communist era it was repeatedly banned by the authorities and became a symbol of cultural resistance. The company continues to create original productions that blend physical theatre with political and poetic expression.
