Sutemi Horiguchi (1895–1984) was a Japanese architect and pioneer of modernist architecture in Japan. He travelled to Europe, where he encountered the De Stijl movement and the Bauhaus, and sought to synthesise these influences with Japanese architectural traditions. His villa Okada (1933) is among his most celebrated works.
