About

SKLAP is a rock band from northern Bohemia, formed in 2008 at the S-Centrum complex in Děčín and active across the Děčín-Ústí nad Labem region. They play original big-beat-rock with Czech lyrics, have released the album Molekula and a music video for the track Kriminál. The band organises its own annual Sklapfest festival and has shared stages with a range of Czech artists.

    SKLAP performed at the ceremonial opening of the 871st spa season in Teplice (May 2025) on the Scene at the Bird Stairs.

    The band announced that it has already held the 6th Sklapfest festival and is filling the concert calendar for 2025 and the beginning of 2026.

    The band performed at the Fírfest festival in Ústí nad Labem (August 2024) together with other North Bohemian bands.

  • 2022

    Sklapfest 2022 was held as the 4th festival at the beach in Chabařovice; the festival proceeds supported an organization helping children with cancer.
