Reifegerste Trio is a German-Czech jazz trio led by Berlin-born singer and producer Simone Reifegerste, who co-founded the group with Czech saxophonist and flutist Joe Kučera. Since 2019 the lineup has been completed by Prague-born pianist, film composer and Prague National Theater member Vladimír Strnad. The trio performs regularly across Germany and the Czech Republic, recording in the analogue Studio Forstmehren in the Westerwald region.
Reifegerste Trio is confirmed for the multi-genre festival Boskovice (July 9-12, 2026), where it will perform in the historic synagogue.
The album As Time Goes By was released in December 2023 also on vinyl; the digital edition was released earlier in the same year.
The trio performed at a jazz evening at the aviation museum (November 27, 2023), and the recording was published on YouTube.
In May 2021, the second solo album of saxophonist Joe Kučery Take A Heart was released, produced by Simone Reifegerste; the entire trio sings and plays on the recording.
