Rostislav Čuřík is a Brno-based photographer and painter who emerged on the art scene after graduating from the Brno School of Arts and Crafts around 1980. He lives in Brno's Kamenná kolonie, a neighbourhood with a long tradition of artistic life. His photographic work spans from early documentary images to new pieces created specifically for exhibitions.
