
"The Most Important Things Happen in Between" — Roni Plesla Exhibition
A personal collection of glass, mirrors, and meditative objects by designer Roni Plesla. The exhibition explores the relationship between time and the fragility of things.
Rony Plesl (born 1965 in Jablonec nad Nisou) is a Czech sculptor, designer and professor whose work centres on glass sculpture. Since 2008 he has led the Glass Studio at Prague's UMPRUM, where he was appointed professor of design and architecture in 2017. He has collaborated with Barovier & Toso in Venice, Moser, Lasvit and Preciosa, and holds Czech Grand Design, Red Dot and Good Design awards. His works are held in collections ranging from Prague's Museum of Decorative Arts to the Corning Museum of Glass in the USA.
