Purity Ring is a Canadian electronic duo from Edmonton, formed in 2010 by vocalist Megan James and producer Corin Roddick. They built their reputation on a sound that sits between witch house and synth-pop - crystalline vocals layered over dark, intricate beats. Their 2012 debut Shrines reached #32 on the Billboard 200 and became a touchstone of indie electronic music; in 2025 they released their fourth, self-titled album.
