Tribute to Zuzana Navarova
A tribute band celebrating the music of Zuzana Navarova through songs from Nerez and Koa, performed by a six-piece ensemble with over a decade of experience.
Pocta Zuzaně Navarové is a six-piece Czech band formed in 2017 from the original Jazz Elements lineup. After playing a handful of Nerez and Koa songs at one of their gigs to great acclaim, they decided to carry on as a permanent tribute to Zuzana Navarová (1959-2004), one of the most distinctive voices in Czech folk and world music. Their set draws from both of her bands: the full-ensemble harmonies echo Nerez, while the trumpet and percussion bring the dance rhythms of Koa. The group is fronted by singer Barbora Červinková, a graduate of the Prague Conservatory.
The band performed in Prague at the event Pocta Zuzaně Navarové: Jazz Elements, which took place on June 3, 2026.
In February 2026, the band completed the Masopust tour - at the Mír club in Uherské Hradiště, they received thunderous applause for their precise performance.
In January 2026, the band performed a concert in Černošice (Club Kino) and in Dobříš.
In 2024, the band collaborated with Máriem Bihárim on a joint concert.
